Mario Kart 8 Deluxe — Booster Course Pass is the paid downloadable content for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, the Nintendo Switch version of the original Wii U game. It will consist of 48 newly remade courses divided in 6 waves from the entire Mario Kart series, including Tour, and will be released periodically until "the end of 2023".

The first wave was released on March 18, 2022, and is also accessible through the Nintendo Switch Online's Expansion Pack.

Reception

Upon reveal, the add-on has recieved mostly favorable feedback, with praise toward the course choices; although the implemented graphics were more "mixed" as many compared it to that of Tour rather than the "realistic" design of the base game.

Trivia

• Excluding 3DS Toad Circuit and the nitro courses from Tour, DS Shroom Ridge and GBA Snow Land are currently the only courses in the Booster Course Pass that have not previously appeared as classic courses.
