Blaziken (バシャーモ, Bursyamo) is a species of Pokémon in the series of the same name. It is a dual-type Fire/Fighting Pokémon that made its first appearance in the third generation games Ruby and Sapphire.

Physiology and Behaviour

Blaziken are highly agile that have the ability to leap over skyscrapers with one jump. It can ignite part of its body in flames, and will do so if felt threatened. The higher the opponent's level is, the higher the intensity of the Blaziken's fire will be. The only difference between a male and female Blaziken is that female have shorter hair than males do. Blaziken is the lightest of the final evolved starter Pokémon in the entire Pokémon series, coming in at only 114.6 pounds. Every few years, the feathers on Blaziken fall off to make way for new ones.
