BioWare is a private subsidiary of Electronic Arts that was formed in 1995 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. They are best known for their role-playing games, and as of yet they've only created one game for Nintendo consoles, being Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood for the Nintendo DS. A few other games they've originally created have been ported to Nintendo platforms by other studios.
