Ben 10: Omniverse 2 is the second game to be based off the Ben 10: Omniverse animated TV show, published by D3Publisher released for the Wii, Wii U, and Nintendo 3DS. The Wii and Wii U versions play more like a 3D beat'em up.

Gameplay[]

The gameplay is the Wii/Wii U version is split into two phases. There is a chasing phase that plays similar to mobile titles like Temple Run and a beat 'em up phase where the player has to beat up the enemies in the room to progress. There are only 7 levels.

The chasing phases focus the aliens into 3 different classes, the fast Light class, the projectile throwing Medium class and the strong Heavy class. The different classes are used to handle different obstacles like gaps and flying robots, weak walls. Additionally. the lane switching mechanic helps bypass other obstacles. There are checkpoints that depending on which lane the player is in, determine which hall he goes down.

For the beat 'em up sections, the classes of aliens generally shape the combos and powers of the aliens with lights being fast, but low damage and heavies being slow, but deal a lot of damage per hit and high defense. Each alien has a unique ability in combat.
