The Beast Ball is an item introduced in Pokémon Sun and Moon. It is a type of Poké Ball that works better when trying to catch Ultra Beasts. However, they are awful at catching regular Pokémon.
Usage[]
The Beast Ball is a special type of Poké Ball that has a 10x catch rate for any of the ultra Beasts. However, they have a .1 catch rate on any normal Pokémon.
In the original Pokémon Sun and Moon, the item is limited, only obtainable in the post game UB Mission story with a few given before tackling each of the Ultra Beasts. If the player has no Beast Balls in their bag, asking the story character that gave the player them for a new one.
In Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, the player can purchase them on Aether Paradise.
History[]
In Sun and Moon, Beast Balls were developed by Faba at the Aether Foundation. In Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, they were created as a cooperative project with Aether Foundation and the Ultra Recon Squad
