Beanbean Castle lies at the center of the Beanbean Kingdom in Beanbean Castle Town. The Beanbean royal family-- Prince Peasley, Lady Lima and Queen Bean-- reside there.
The castle itself serves as a central hub during the game and as such, it serves several important purposes, such as housing the wish granting Beanstar.
The basement of the castle contains a large, initially broken, plumbing system which when fixed, dissipates the barrier surrounding the aforementioned Star. Periodically, the Mario Bros. return to the Castle to receive new information.
