Barbara the Bat (バーバラ・バット, Bābara Batto) is the most iconic and main guitarist in the game Daigasso! Band Brothers, she also appears on most of its menus and sells things to the players. Though there is no specific story in the game she is accepted as the main character of it. In the game she manages the store GB Music (the GB standing for Great Barbara). She is also the host and owner of a magic shop in the game Master of Illusion.
Super Smash Bros. series
Barbara appears as an Assist Trophy in the Wii game Super Smash Bros. Brawl. She is one of the few unlockable Assist Trophies, and appropriately the only way to acquire her is to find twenty five hidden songs in the game, after which she'll be available as one of the random characters in an Assist Trophy. In the game she'll jam on her guitar which will cause sound waves to emit from it, damaging anyone in its way (excluding the character who threw the Assist Trophy).
"The manager of the music store GB Music in Waruwaru Town--her real name is Barbara the Bat. She leads the player through the game, showing her arrogant attitude as she cracks the whip at others but pampers herself. Her little brother's name is Tingtin the Bat. By the way, the "GB" in the name of her store stands for "Great Barbara," NOT "Game Boy.""
She makes a cameo appearance in the Nintendo DS game English Training: Have Fun Improving Your Skills!. In it, she gives the player a phrase and they must quickly write it out on the touch screen. As previously mentioned, she also appears in the Super Smash Bros. Brawl video game as an Assist Trophy.
Barbara also makes a cameo appearance in the Wii U game Super Mario Maker as an alternate costume for Mario. Clearing Barbara's event course will unlock her costume.
