The BBC iPlayer is a British Internet streaming service for TV and radio. It was released on November 18th, 2009 on the Wii and May 18th, 2015 on the Wii U. The application could do all features that the website was capable of. On February 10, 2015, the Wii version was discontinued. The BBC stated this was due to resource management. The Wii displays error code 375006 when booted. The Wii U version was discontinued in January 2017. A Nintendo Switch version seems to be in development. After its discontinuation, it aired Pokémon Horizons: The Series on this service in 2023.
