Atsuko Nishida is a graphic and character designer. She used to work at Game Freak, where she has created many notable Pokémon, including the franchise mascot Pikachu, most of the Eeveelutions and the Kanto First partner Pokémon. Eventually she left the company and became a freelance artist, although she has still contributed Pokémon designs to the series, like various evolutions of Eevee and Alolan forms on Sun and Moon.
Nishida has also produced illustrations in the Pokémon Trading Card Game.
