Art Style: ORBIENT is a WiiWare video game developed by Skip and published by Nintendo that was initially released on September 29, 2008 in North America, in the PAL regions on December 19, 2008 and in Japan on May 12, 2009. It is a remake of bit Generations: Orbital, which was only released in Japan on the Game Boy Advance. It features enhanced graphics and controls that make use of the Wii Remote compared to the standard, intentionally unimpressive graphics and simple gameplay mechanics of the original.
Gameplay[]
In the game, you'll start out as a small star and gradually increase in size by orbiting around larger stars and collecting the other similarly shaped stars that rotate around the large bodies. Eventually you'll become so large that you'll be able to have the sun orbit your star, which is a requirement in order to finish each level. As the player progresses, the game becomes more challenging.
Reception[]
So far the game has been generally very well received. IGN rewarded the game with an outstanding 8.5, while N-Sider.com explained that it is one of the WiiWare must haves. It has been critizied by its enhancements, however, with some saying that they preferred the outdated look of the bit Generations video games [1].
