Arika is a video game developer founded in 1995 by former Capcom employees in Japan. Their first title on a Nintendo system was the Capcom published GameCube game Mega Man Network Transmission. They would later collaborate with Nintendo to develop Endless Ocean and its sequel, Endless Ocean 2, for the Wii. The games are considered the successors to the PlayStation 2 exclusive Everblue series. In addition to co-developing the Nintendo 3DS AR Games package alongside HAL Laboratory, Arika later worked on more recent Dr. Mario games starting with the WiiWare game Dr. Mario Online Rx and its DSiWare counterpart Dr. Mario Express. In 2019, they created Tetris 99.
