Unlike Materia a few hundred years ago, Warrior Type isn't a standout. The identity was hidden for a long time, but it was revealed in Story that it was Princess of Aretha Kingdom. Although the Aretha Kingdom was destroyed by the Vandal Empire invasion, only Ariel survived and was quietly raised in Forest under the care of Sarah.
