The Ancient Castle of Ikana is a location in Majora's Mask. The castle is inaccessible until Link acquires the Mirror Shield from the Ikana well. The composer Sharp directs him here to meet the King of Ikana, Igos Du Ikana, to figure out how to get to the Stone Tower Temple.

Themes and Navigation[]

Once Link has the Mirror Shield, he can access the castle either by shining light on a sun block in the room where he acquires the shield, or by entering the castle via a passage in Ikana Canyon, then triggering a crystal switch to produce a beam of light, then shine it on a sun block. Alternatively, Link can also remove the sun block with a Light Arrow (acquired in the Stone Tower Temple).
