Ambipom() is a species of Pokémon in the series of the same name. It is a Normal Pokémon that made its first appearance in the fourth generation games Diamond and Pearl.
Physiology and Behaviour
It is pretty playful. It is also similar to anahuizotl, a creature of Aztec mythology with monkey hands and a fifth human hand on its tail.

Dawn gained an Ambipom after trading Buizel for Ash's Aipom. She used it in various contests.
Origin and inspiration
The origin of Ambipom is a monkey, with the exaggerated concept of a prehensile tail. It may be based on the squirrel monkey in its appearance.
