Alex Kidd in Miracle World is a platformer and as the first game of the Alex Kidd series. Originally released for the Sega Master System in 1986 in Japan as well as North America and Europe the year later. The was later re-released for the Wii Virtual Console and the Nintendo Switch eshop for the Sega AGES.
