Akiya Sakamoto is a producer and project manager at Nintendo. Initially, he worked at R&D2 as a graphic designer, but later on he became a coordinator for Western companies like Nintendo Software Technology and Next Level Games, under Kensuke Tanabe. He was credited as one of the three producers for Super Smash Bros. Brawl on the Wii.
