Adventure Island (JP) is a Nintendo Entertainment System video game released in 1986. It was developed and published by Hudson, and was later released on the Wii's Virtual Console. It was re-released in Japan as a Famicom Mini as Famicom Mini Series: Adventure Island. A remake for the game was also released exclusively in Japan for the GameCube.

The game had eight worlds or zones that the main character would be required to venture through. In each world, there are four levels, and at the end of the forth level, you will encounter a boss. Each level also has a checkpoint that the character will return to when he dies.
