5th Cell is a video game developer founded on August 28, 2003. For quite some time the company created games exclusively for mobile phones. In the late 2000s, they partnered up with THQ and Warner Bros. to create titles for the Nintendo DS. Their list of titles that have appeared on a Nintendo platform can be seen below.

History[]

In 2008, 5th Cell found its first major breakthrough with the first entry in the Drawn to Life series with THQ. While they didn't stay on beyond the second title in that series, the success of this title led to a partner with Warner Bros., who was starting to get serious in the publishing business. The partnership resulted in the Scribblenauts series that sustained the company in a combination of handheld and mobile entries through the early 2010s. However, in the 2015, they desired to be less reliant on publishers and made a figs campaign. It unfortunately failed and when Warner Bros. cancelled a mobile game, they shrank tremendously in 2016.
