3D Classics: TwinBee is a recreation of the original TwinBee game released back in Japan on a variety of 1980s consoles. Released on the eShop service for the Nintendo 3DS system, this port recreates the classic material of the original game but with the addition of the stereoscopic 3D feature over the otherwise classic graphics.
Another significant change is that unlike the original that was only available in Japan, the 3DS port is now available across all regions. The port itself was developed by Arika on behalf of Konami, and published by Nintendo who helped to promote the remake as part of their 3D Classics campaign.
As well as the 3DS port, there was another remake produced a long while ago for the Game Boy Advance system in Japan, back in 2004.
