2013 was a year where large amounts of Wii U games (such as Injustice: Gods Among Us, Pikmin 3) and 3DS games (such as Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon) were released.
Events
- Luigi's 30th anniversary is celebrated with the releases of Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, New Super Luigi U, and Mario & Luigi: Dream Team.
- LucasArts is purchased by Disney and its Intellectual property based assets are transfered to Disney Interactive Studios.
- Nintendo Force started making issues.
- E3 was from June 10- June 14.
- Check Mii Out Channel's services ended in June 28 making it no longer available to use.
- WiiConnect24 was shut down.
