10-Yard Fight (10ヤードファイト, Ten Yādo Faito) is a game developed and published by Irem for Arcades and the Nintendo Entertainment System. The game revolves around American football and features five different levels of difficulty, including high school, college, pro, playoffs, and Super Bowl, with the latter being the hardest. It has generally been accepted as an awful game by both gamers and critics alike.
Nintendo published the NES version outside Japan. The arcade version was re-released for the Nintendo Switch by Hamster as part of their Arcade Archives collection on May 2, 2018.
Gameplay
In order to move your player on the field, you'll be required to use the control pad. Pressing in the desired direction will cause the player on screen to go that way. The A button on the NES Controller can perform a variety of different actions, including passing, tackling, and selecting your position; the latter two can also be done with the B button, which will likewise allow you to kick the ball.
At the beginning of the game, you can choose whether or not you want to player with a buddy. If you wish to, you'll have to both be on opposing teams.
