Takemikazuchi

The Takemikazuchi in Bayonetta 2.

武甕槌-Takemikazuchi- is a large hammer created from Rodin breaking down and reforging the Futsuno-mitama. Since the Futsuno-mitama was the sword of the japanese thunder god, its main element is lightning. The weapon is exclusive to Bayonetta, Jeanne's version of the weapon is called 野牛-Yagyu-. It is a weapon made to inflict massive damage to enemies but one of its main drawback is that the speed of those attacks are very slow.

In game description[]

"A giant hammer forged from breaking down the thunder god Takemikazuchi's divine sword, the Futsuno-mitama.

Though harnessing adequate power as a sword, Rodin decided to rebulid it a as hammer to suit his personal tastes. One swing will cause the heavens to split and the earth to tremble."

How to Obtain[]

In Bayonetta 2, the Golden LP for the weapon is broken into 3 pieces. The first appears right after the battle with Allegiance in the verse 5 of Chapter VIII. The second appears behind the portal Loki opens that requires you to jump around it in verse 7 of Chapter VIII. The last one is found on a lower walkway beneath the platforms in the verse 6 of Chapter IX.
