Universal Studios Japan will be hosting Super Nintendo World's fifth anniversary this year with a celebratory birthday makeover from 18th March featuring a giant superstar cake at the entrance and a special 'Star Hunt' activity within.
Yoshi will also be joining the meet-and-greet circuit in the park itself, marking the first time that he has been available for photo ops with the public.

Over the weekend, footage of the Zelda movie reportedly leaked from the set. That footage followed other recent reports that filming had recently started.
In any case, Nintendo recently announced on the Nintendo Today app that the movie has indeed started filming in New Zealand and has shared the first official images of Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as Link and Bo Bragason as Zelda.

Initially shared on the Nintendo Today! app before appearing on YouTube and socials, Nintendo has out of the blue released an animated short about a baby that learns to take its first steps via the magic of a sentient pacifier.
EDIT: There is now an updated version of the short in the Nintendo Today app that makes it even more clear this is Pikmin-related.

I actually agree with that. Having to cream almost everything into a movie about Smash would come with a lot of issues. A show would be a much better option.

Its that time again, the newest major Nintendo Direct will be broadcast on friday, September 12th. Expect approximately 60 minutes of info on upcoming Switch 2 and Switch 1 games.

Nintendo just announced that it is renaming its subsidiary company 'Warpstar Inc.' to 'Nintendo Stars Inc.' following its consolidation earlier this year.
As most may know, Warpstar Inc. (founded on 31st July 2001) had previously been a joint venture between Nintendo and Hal Laboratory to oversee the Kirby franchise, expanding it into other mediums such as the Kirby: Right Back at Ya! anime series back in 2001. Warpstar Inc. became an official subsidiary of Nintendo on 1st April earlier this year.
Nintendo Stars will be responsible for "the ancillary-use business tied to films that feature Nintendo Intellectual Property". In other words, it'll focus on the expansion of movie adaptations into other ventures, such as events, merchandise, licensing etc.. Nintendo Stars will also continue the Kirby franchise's expansion into other mediums.

As shown in the Nintendo Today! app, Nintendo has revealed the actor and actress who will play Link and Zelda in the upcoming live-action The Legend of Zelda movie; 16 year old Benjamin Evan Ainsworth (bottom) and 21 year old Bo Bragason (top).
Yeah, never heard of them but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. I’m glad that it’s, at least to me, two relative newbies that are getting a shot. Time will tell how they do but I wish them well.
Right now I'm more curious on who they will get/have gotten to play Ganondorf.
